Dream Team*
/Good Morning from Philly!
We’re excited about tomorrow, our first day live at the DNC! The streets of Philadelphia are alive, and this city is buzzing with activity.
I am beyond grateful to be here with my family! Together we have built an amazing support team that is helping capture, honor & broadcast this incredible experience of history in the making. I want to recognize and thank our Dream Team, because truly it takes a village to be here now and bring this project forth.
- My daughter Sonia Lub, our project/media director. She keeps the ball rolling on a lot around here, as well as most of us on track... (not a simple task)
- Ryan McGuire, our Documentarian & film maker. Ryan has been documenting this project since it’s onset when we first started exhibiting the artwork at Burning Man in 2012.
- Devin Dombrowski (my nephew) who is our technical guru and chief web designer.
- Rachel Avilla (Devin’s wife / also my niece), who built our website, and is the glue that helps nourish us while we are on the road, and hold us all together.
- Sergio Lub, my rock, backbone, world’s most incredible husband, and the biggest support for this project) has arrived. Sergio is the support that has actually made all of this possible for us to be here.
We each wear many hats! In addition to all of the above, each of us has travelled across the country to be here, waking up around dawn each morning to set up our project, withstand the heat all day, communicate with the general public, news reporters, protesters and each person who comes out... while representing This Unites US, taking photographs of our live interactive display, recording interviews, networking, and breaking down each night.
Each day from here on our dream team is expanding, as loved ones make the trek from across the country, to stand with us during this historical time.
- Chuck Feil (i.e. Chuckie) will arrive tomorrow. Chuckie is one of our best friends, god father to our children. As a former photographer for National Geographic / a pioneer of adventure, we cannot wait to share more images that will be captured by my husband Sergio and Chuck.
& last but certainly not least,
My Son, Nikolas Lub, who isn't able to join us here this week, because he is back in California holding down the fort at home, as well as our family business. Without his support none of us would be able to be here now. Nik has been a pioneer supporter in building the American History Panels, as well as our logistics coordinator, and advisor for this project. We love him & wish he could be here with us this week.
